Foster Child Photography Experience

A special opportunity to capture memories that matter.

£59.99 per child | Minimum booking: 10 children

This special photography experience has been created to give children in foster care the opportunity to have beautiful photographs of themselves in a relaxed, safe and supportive environment.

The programme is available to local authorities, fostering services, charities and organisations wishing to provide this opportunity to children in their care.

What each child receives

● An individual photography session

● Approximately 10 images captured

● A private online gallery link sent within 7 working days

● 3 digital images to download (which can be printed yourself)

● Option to add a sibling photograph for £15

A4 framed photograph: £35 when added to the package
(£40 if purchased after the session)

A little about me

I have been a foster carer for over 13 years and have welcomed more than 25 foster children into my home. I am currently also an approved daytime respite foster carer.

I understand first-hand the importance of patience, privacy, confidentiality and creating an environment where children feel safe, respected and comfortable.

I have extensive experience working with children with emotional and additional needs, neurodivergent children and children who may require additional patience, reassurance and understanding.

With over 30 years of modelling industry experience and having photographed more than 5,000 children and models, I bring a professional, calm and child-centred approach to every session.

Safeguarding & DBS

I hold DBS clearance for my photography work and also hold the appropriate DBS clearance associated with my fostering role.

Safeguarding, privacy, confidentiality and the wellbeing of every child are treated as a priority throughout the experience.

Where will the sessions take place?

Sessions can take place at:

My photography studio in Chadwell Heath, Essex RM6

or

A suitable venue arranged by the local authority/fostering service.

If a venue is required, the local authority will be responsible for arranging and covering the cost of venue hire.

The venue must provide a suitable private space of approximately 6m x 6m minimum to accommodate the photography equipment and allow sufficient room for the session.

Sessions can be arranged in any local authority area, subject to a suitable venue being available.

How it works

1. Local authority receives the information
The local authority/fostering service reviews the opportunity and, if appropriate, shares the information with its foster carers.

2. Foster carers register their interest
Foster carers simply click the “Register Your Interest” button on the website and complete a short form.

3. I contact the local authority
Once registrations have been received, I will contact the relevant local authority/fostering service to confirm the level of interest and discuss the next steps, including dates and venue arrangements.

4. Dates and arrangements are confirmed
Once the minimum booking of 10 children has been reached, suitable dates and the location are agreed.

5. Individual booking link is sent
Foster carers who have registered their interest receive a secure booking link with the available dates, session information and payment details.

6. Payment confirms the booking
Payment is made at the time of booking to secure the child’s individual photography session.

7. Photography session takes place
Each child has their own dedicated time in front of the camera.

8. Private gallery provided
Within 7 working days, a private online gallery link is sent to view the images and select the 3 digital images included.
